iseedocs Platform Edition Overview
iseedocs utilizes an intelligent server adaptation technology that converts binary content from its native format into a structured format (XML) suitable for mobile devices.
The iseedocs server converts documents into a generic format and then transcodes the converted content into a device specific format ideal for wireless delivery. Upon adaptation of a document, the iseedocs server dynamically generates and delivers a table of contents, table of figures and page thumbnail view to the client, any of which can be used to navigate a document or slide show.
The platform exposes all its capabilities over a standard set of interfaces in the form of Java API, HTTP and SOAP for easy integration into third party provider systems such as push email or download portals.
